The Silver State Art Festival, sponsored by the Nevada Gourd Society, is a collaborative gathering of several of the natural fine artistry entities in and around the state of Nevada. This festival is comprised of gourd art and basketry art as well as other fine art and fine craft media. Vendors in attendance will be displaying and selling artwork and art supplies. In addition, there will be classes for those interested a hands-on learning experience. Our goal is to have a fun and educational festival for all who want to know more about the beautiful world of the natural arts.


This INDOOR festival is being held at the Fuji Exhibit Hall in beautiful Carson City, Nevada. Click here to view the address and a map of this location.

Classes

Are you interested in a hands-on experience? Take advantage of the many gourd and art classes we'll be offering during the 3 days of our festival. There will be a variety of classes teaching techniques that you can apply to your gourd art, including beading, carving, wood burning, doll making, basket weaving, ink dyes, acrylic pouring and more! In addition, there will be a woodturning class and a class on how to work with wire to create a beautiful copper bracelet. We will even have a gourd class designed especially for beginners!

2022 Class Photos Preview

Food and Drink


We will open the festival on Friday evening at 5 pm and we'll be serving wine to our patrons until 8 pm. We have also arranged to have a food truck on-site for Friday and Saturday. So plan to relax and partake in the delicious southwest cuisine of the Tacos Las Mission food truck.

Festival Hotel Rates

The 2022 Raffle

We will have another huge raffle this year with many, many wonderful prizes. This year all raffle proceeds will go to the Nevada Humane Society.

The Nevada Humane Society will participate in the festival this year with Pet Adoptions. Plan to stop by to see all of the fur babies looking for their forever homes.
