The Silver State Art Festival, sponsored by the Nevada Gourd Society, is a collaborative gathering of several of the natural fine artistry entities in and around the state of Nevada. This festival is comprised of gourd art and basketry art as well as other fine art and fine craft media. Vendors in attendance will be displaying and selling artwork and art supplies. In addition, there will be classes for those interested a hands-on learning experience. Our goal is to have a fun and educational festival for all who want to know more about the beautiful world of the natural arts.

Classes
Are you interested in a hands-on experience? Take advantage of the many gourd and art classes we'll be offering during the 3 days of our festival. There will be a variety of classes teaching techniques that you can apply to your gourd art.
The 2023 Raffle
We will have another huge raffle this year with many, many wonderful prizes.
Carson City is a perfect location for a festival! Visitors from far and wide visit in September because of our great weather and all the wonderful things to do in this area of Nevada:
