The Nevada Gourd Society is hosting its 5th Annual Silver State Art Festival, September 8-10, 2023 at the Fuji Exhibit Hall in Carson City, NV. This festival is a gathering of over 40 award-winning artists focused on sharing their art with our community. Artists from Nevada and California will be displaying their gourd art, paintings, photography, jewelry, woodworking and much more. ( View the list of our 2023 artists. )
In addition, there will be art classes for those interested in a hands-on learning experience.
Our goal is to have a fun and educational festival for all who want to know more about the beautiful world of the natural arts.

Are you interested in a hands-on experience?
Take advantage of the many art classes we'll be offering during the 3 days of our festival. Classes include gourd art, watercolor, wood turning, mandala dotting, zentangle, making a ledger, silk scarf marbling, and basket weaving.

The 2023 Raffle and Silent Auction
We will have another huge raffle this year with many, many wonderful prizes.
The Nevada Humane Society of Northern Nevada will be our recipient for this year's fundraising efforts. We are anticipating a great response from our community in supporting this great organization.

Previous years: Thanks to the support and generosity of our artists, businesses, and the community, in 2022 we were able to donate $13,000 to the Nevada Humane Society. In total, we have raised $32,650 in donations for various non-profit organizations in the Carson City area.
Food and Drink
Plan to join us for the festival opening at the Fuji Exhibit Hall from 5-8 pm on Friday evening. We'll be serving white and red wine for you to enjoy as you listen to live music and browse through the exhibits.
On Saturday the Bus Boy Mobile Cuisine truck will be on the premises from 10 am to 5 pm providing lunch and snacks.
