Double Shard Necklace

Class description

Learn how I make my jewelry. I will show you how to connect two shards together with wire and how the necklace chain attaches to the shards. We will first learn to draw the patterns and then learn how to get them on the shards. I will bring all the supplies for this project including the shards and findings. Including my metallic markers and rub-ons for you to try. Wear it home or give it as a special gift.

What you are required to bring

Each student is required to bring the following items to class:

• Your wood burning tool and spear tip
• Your ink dyes
• Pencil and paper
• A pair of long nose jewelry pliers

About the instructor

I enjoy teaching wood burning and tangling. This year I am traveling to festivals sharing my new books and gourd projects. You can see my work at my website www.gourdblossomjewelry.com. I enjoyed teaching my techniques to many last year at your first Silver State Art Festival and I hope those who didn't have the opportunity to take my classes last year will be able to come this year.
