Pointillism (Pen & Ink Dot) Eagle

Class description

You will learn the technique of manipulating your pen to create a stunning eagle all done in dots. It is a very relaxing method. This technique can also be used with other media.

Each student will receive a class-ready gourd, tutorial, pattern ready to transfer and a Pitt pen

This class is appropriate for all levels of students. Most will complete the project in class. Some may wish to continue at home making the eagle darker. The student will have the knowledge and supplies to complete the gourd at home.

Everything is provided by the instructor.

About the instructor

Loved to draw when young continued through college. Introduced to gourds in 1998. Loved the non conventional canvas. Self taught wood burning, carving, ink dye, alcohol ink, pen & ink, recently Apoxie Sculpt. Starting teaching 2015. Each gourd is a challenge, with size, shape, and markings enhancing the design.
